Small Business Partners

Discovering new possibilities.

If your company is interested in a business partnership with GDIT, please take a moment to register with us. We've put together a guide on how to register or update your business information.

We will use this information as a resource to identify possible candidates for opportunities that arise. As always, neither you nor GDIT are under any obligations. If you have any questions or want to update your information, please contact us at smallbusiness@gdit.com.

A message from our president.

At General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), we recognize the importance of small
business. We are committed to ensuring it remains an integral part of our strategic sourcing,
procurement, and teaming processes. The success of our company and society depends on
encouraging the growth of entrepreneurship, regardless of race, gender, or abilities. Our
commitment to diversity and inclusion extends beyond our workforce to our communities and
partners.

Through our Small Business Supplier Diversity Program, we have successfully assisted many
socioeconomic businesses in establishing themselves as suppliers and teammates for GDIT. Small
businesses provide significant value to the American economy and to our customers as successful
prime contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. We will continue to actively seek and establish
mutually beneficial relationships with small businesses capable of providing products and services
that meet our supply needs and service requirements.

Specifically, our Small Business Programs afford local and/or global supplier opportunities to the
following, as well as to other underutilized and disadvantaged categories:

Small Business HUBZone Small Business
Small Disadvantaged Business Woman-Owned Small Business
Veteran-Owned Small Business Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business
Minority Institutions Historically Black Colleges & Universities
Native American Small Business AbilityOne Program

Since small businesses are imperative for General Dynamics, we urge employees to be diligent in
identifying and using small business suppliers in all aspects of our procuring activities.
For assistance or guidance regarding our Small Business Program, contact Robyn Card at 703-

requirements.

Small Business Databases

We encourage small businesses to register in the following databases, used to identify potential small business contractors:

System for Award Management

Companies pursuing business with the government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), which replaces the former Central Contractor Registration. SAM also includes online representations and certifications.

SBA Dynamic Small Business Search

It is recommended that companies complete the information in its entirety, including keywords and capabilities.

VetBiz Database

This database contains U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Center for Veterans Enterprise online directory of Veteran-Owned (VOSB) and Service Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVOSB) small businesses.

As a measure to ensure greater opportunities for all, GDIT is fully committed to the provisions contained in Public Law 95-507, as amended, and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19, establishing requirements for participation in federal contracts to include:

  • Small business (SB) concerns, including Native American small businesses
  • Small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals
  • Small business concerns owned and controlled by women (WOSB)
  • SBA-certified HUBZone (Historically underutilized business zones) small businesses
  • Veteran-owned (VO) and service disabled veteran-owned (SDVO) small businesses
  • AbilityOne organizations employing the blind and the severely-disabled
