Companies to partner on AI-solutions to drive digital transformation for government agencies
FALLS CHURCH, Va. – General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), a business unit of General Dynamics, announced today that it has expanded its commercial partnership with ServiceNow through a new strategic collaboration agreement.
Under this two-year agreement, GDIT will leverage ServiceNow’s artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to enhance IT operations and drive digital transformation for government agencies. The agreement builds on GDIT’s established status as a ServiceNow Elite Partner and reinforces GDIT’s broader technology investment strategy launched last year, which emphasizes deepening relationships with commercial technology companies.
“As agencies modernize their complex IT environments, automating workflows and optimizing operations through AI-driven solutions has become critical for mission success,” said Ben Gianni, GDIT senior vice president and chief technology officer. “This expanded partnership with ServiceNow allows us to deliver advanced AI capabilities that will enable our government clients to manage their operations more efficiently and securely.”
GDIT will integrate ServiceNow’s AI and machine learning IT operations platform into its Cove AI Ops Digital Accelerator, enabling agencies to automate routine tasks, more proactively address issues and gain real-time insights to improve system performance and reduce operational costs. This collaboration will also focus on identifying new use cases for AI, building prototypes and developing specialized training programs that are tailored to evolving federal mission requirements.
“As a consulting, implementation, reseller and service provider partner, GDIT’s industry expertise is essential to scaling and extending ServiceNow solutions across the public sector,” said Jonathan Alboum, Federal CTO at ServiceNow. “We are thrilled to partner with GDIT to deliver a seamless experience to solve some of our customers’ biggest digital transformation challenges.”
