Company to open two new facilities and immediately hire for 380 positions
FALLS CHURCH, Va. – General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE:GD), announced today the expansion of its GDIT Technology Shared Services (TSS) operations resulting in the immediate need to hire over 380 new employees. TSS supports more than 135 government programs with IT service delivery in cloud, cyber, artificial intelligence, application development and service desk operations.
GDIT is opening two new TSS facilities in El Paso, Texas, and New Orleans. These facilities add to existing flagship TSS locations in Bossier City, Louisiana, and Barbourville, Kentucky, enabling continued support of some of the nation’s most critical mission needs.
“We’re excited to expand our GDIT TSS operations with new facilities in the southern region of the U.S. to support our growing technical shared services portfolio,” said Paul Nedzbala, GDIT senior vice president. “The new facilities open in spring 2022, and we are immediately hiring technical staff to support multiple federal government and defense IT operations.”
On-site and remote positions are currently open across all four locations. GDIT plans to hire 200 full-time employees across the Bossier City and Barbourville locations, 150 staff in El Paso, and 30 technologists in New Orleans, with the potential to hire additional employees later in 2022.
