Our Culture
The experience of transitioning from the military to a civilian career shouldn’t be difficult. At GDIT, we’ll give you the autonomy to seize opportunities and the resources to guide you along the way.
At GDIT, we’re committed to hiring, supporting, and training veterans, military spouses, wounded warriors, and their caregivers. We support, encourage, and connect the members of this community through programs like our employee resource groups (ERG). Our Honor ERG hosts bi-weekly, after-hours virtual chats and various events to honor our military, veterans, and their family members who have stood alongside them.
MILITARY TALENT ACCLIMATE PROGRAM
Our Military Talent Acclimate Program is part of a multi-phase initiative designed to assist our military community at all stages of their GDIT career. This program matches new veteran hires with sponsors who provide support during the week leading up to your first day and throughout your first 30 days on the job. These sponsors understand the unique challenges of transitioning from military service to a civilian career and can offer insight into GDIT’s culture and organization as well as help you connect with fellow veteran employees. We want to ensure our veterans have a smooth and positive experience becoming acclimated to civilian work and our GDIT culture.
Our Capabilities
We secure and operate the IT infrastructure supporting intelligence missions for coalition partners worldwide, operate the largest helicopter training facility in the world and are improving collaboration and information sharing across the DoD with the largest ever deployment of Microsoft Office 365.
Skillbridge
We’re a proud SkillBridge partner and offer invaluable opportunities for service members to gain experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, and internships during the last 180 days of service. SkillBridge can help you more easily transition from the end of service to the beginning of a civilian career.
