HOW A GRAPHIC DESIGNER/VIDEO PRODUCER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

GDIT is seeking a Graphic Designer/Video Producer specialist with an advanced visualization skillset. Candidate would be a part of a high-performing team of designers responsible for a wide variety of graphic design tasks, including visualizing and creating reports, infographics, flyers and other products while helping to maintain a cohesive brand identity. This position would be the lead creative in video and multimedia projects, with duties including basic script editing, video and photoshoot planning and execution, and editing.

Requirements:

• High-level skills in modern graphic design, with basic copy-editing skills
• High-level skills in all aspects of video and multimedia production
• High-level skills in still photography
• Creating and editing visual content of high-level information conveyance (strategic plans, briefings)
• Elevating and standardizing the full range of all print and digital publications (annual report, audit and inspections reports, outreach flyers, websites, etc.).
• Ability to work closely with the leadership team and data analytics team to help promote and enhance content including reports, briefs, and visual data.
• 2+ years relevant experience
• Active TS/SCI clearance

Knowledge of:

• Principles of graphic design, multimedia, data visualization, and standards for the production of complex, custom information graphics and videos.
• Graphic design/video editing software to illustrate abstract ideas, complex data and concepts and to depict highly technical subject matter.
• Script development and beginning-to-end management of video and multimedia production processes
• Still photography abilities, including both event documentation and professional portrait photography
• The ability to provide guidance on:
  • Translating abstract ideas and concepts into clear visual representation.
  • Developing comprehensive layouts for review, comment, and final approval.
  • Interpreting, analyzing, organizing and transforming information from statistical information, report notes, or general descriptions to be visually depicted into creative design solutions that effectively communicate the customer's objectives and requirements.
